Really rough Animatic for "Ukia the Wolf"

So Here's a really rough version of "Ukia the Wolf."  Basically the last 5 scenes, 3 if you don't count the little running sequences.  I put this one to music hoping to get a better idea of timing.  I think it's going better.  I just need to flush out some parts and redo the beginning scene.  This starts on scene 2.  Scene 1 needs some revising.  I have to make the audience care about the mother before I kill her off.  How do I get you to care about the mother in less then 40 seconds?  There lies the challenge.  Please feel free to comment.  Special thanks to Walt Disney's Tarzan for the soundtrack.

Hey man, looks pretty good so far. What did you use to put together the animatic? After Effects?

I feel like it could use a larger variety of camera angles, perhaps for the more emotional or epic parts of the running scene, or confrontation, you could use some more dynamic angles. It's a very rough cut at this point, so there are some things I didn't know QUITE what I was looking at, haha.

Did you make this yourself, or was this Andrew's?

Thanks, I like After Effects but if I have to do something fast I use Final Cut. I'll have to start using After Effects for the newer version because there are a some camera moves.

I agree about the camera angles. I keep catching myself playing it safe. I don't experiment with that enough. As for the roughness, I'm cleaning them up after I get critiques so I'm not wasting my time on something that isn't working. You know me though, everything I do is rough, even cleanup, I joke but not really.

Andrew's boards are much nicer then mine. All the postings for Anna and the Beekeeper are Andrew's boards based on that script I wrote. There was a rough preview posted a while ago. Hopefully he'll post the latest and final version soon, hint... hint if he is reading this.

Thanks for the critique, don't be shy with them.
